Extremely gentle on material 

In contrast to other grinding wheels and brushes, a CSD wheel is very gentle on the material; there is no material removal on metal. Only coatings such as paint, scale, tarnish, etc. are removed without removing healthy metal.

 Very good for derusting and paint removal

Rust should NOT be removed with rotating wire brushes in drill or flex / angle grinder! With this method, the rust mixes / smears with the removal of the material of the wire brush and is incorporated into the healthy metal. The result is a silvery / black layer that appears rust-free, but is not. New rust is preprogrammed. This layer can then no longer be removed!
