Characteristics:
ROSTIO rust converter in practical spray bottle for neutralizing and stabilizing rust on steel. Ideal for application and rust conversion on larger areas. Penetrates deep into the rust and neutralizes the corrosion process. Converts iron oxides into an insoluble blue-black metal-organic compound. ROSTIO rust converter does NOT have to be washed with water, so it is also suitable for cavities.
Application:
The substrate must be clean, grease-free and dry. Roughly remove loose rust mechanically beforehand, if possible. Apply a thin layer of ROSTIO rust converter evenly with a brush or roller. Application temperature 5 °C to 35°C. After a reaction time of 3 hours, it can be overpainted and filled with all commercially available paints and fillers. Do not use on hot surfaces above 40°C or in frosty conditions. On painted surfaces, wash off immediately with water. Store frost-free. Cleaning of the equipment after use with water.
