Purple: Particularly long service life. This disc lasts significantly longer than the black CSD cleaning discs.
This CSD grinding wheel, cleaning wheel is ideal for removing paint, rust, underbody protection, scale, silicone joints and much more without damaging the material. High quality nylon backing with silicon carbide grit.

Extremely gentle on material
In contrast to other grinding wheels and brushes, you work with a CSD wheel very gently, no material removal takes place on metal. Only coatings such as paint, scale, tarnish, etc. are removed without removing healthy metal.
Very good for derusting and paint stripping
Rust should NOT be removed with rotating wire brushes in drill or flex / angle grinder! With this method, the rust mixes / smears with the material removed by the wire brush and is incorporated into the healthy metal. The result is a silvery / black layer that appears rust-free, but is not. New rust is pre-programmed. This layer can then no longer be removed!
